Office Manager (Full Time)

The Office Manager for Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church serves as the receptionist; provides administrative support to the Staff and Ministries (under the direction of the Executive Pastor); coordinates facility scheduling, orders supplies; and partners with the staff and congregation in fostering a climate of hospitality and support. The office manager is the initial contact with the members and community.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum typing speed of sixty (60) words per minute.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in secretarial or administrative work.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience working in Ministry.
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Executive Assistant to the Pastors (Full Time)

Provides administrative support to the Pastors.

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience working in Ministry.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university (Masters preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in written form.
  • Managerial and organizational skills to oversee the Office of the Bishop.
  • At least 2 years of administrative and/or managerial experience.

Senior Accountant (Full Time)

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for accounts payable, payroll including month end procedures. The Senior Accountant will maintain related supporting schedules and perform other duties as assigned. Must be extremely detailed oriented.

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum five (5)–six (6) years accounting experience in mid-size high volume accounting department.
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Thorough understanding of full cycle general ledger accounting, accounts payable, journal entries, accounting reconciliation and month close.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in written form.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass federal and state background checks.
